About Ted Wernham

Entering his 37th year serving clients and offering solutions to money matters, especially about how to balance the need for income with the leisure of retirement, Ted Wernham has been winning awards and recognition for outstanding client and community service.

Clients have positively responded to the planning process he offers as an income and personal asset manager. He knows that your retirement can be a stressful prospect when so many mutual funds are not performing and your net wealth is lower than you’d like. With his staff at Wernham Wealth Management, he relieves the stress. He analyzes your current assets, and introduces you to a wide range of pension, tax and insurance options to build wealth now and on into retirement.

Ted offers comprehensive evaluations of your current financial status (and frustrations) and then recommends several ways by which assets can be grown, lifetime income can be predicted and protected, and taxation can be efficiently reduced. Ted offers a unique process, “From Puzzle to Blueprint” that will show you the way to living in retirement comfort, with both work and leisure components recognized as the new retirement requirement.

Ted is a Chartered Financial Services Broker (CFSB) and Elder Planning Counselor, one of the few professionals in Canada to hold both designations. Ted is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario.

Ted has served his profession on the National Board of Directors, and has chaired three National Standing Committees. He has received the National Quality Award numerous times, and has been recognized as "Agent of the Year", "Manager of the Year", and "Group Insurance Producer of the Year". Recently, he was the Director for Canada of the Canadian Initiative for Elder Planning Studies.

His community service includes four terms as London city councillor, representing Byron, Westmount and Lambeth. He has chaired several community-based organizations including the Middlesex-London Health Unit, the London Transit Commission as well as supporting London children’s' sports teams and organizations.

He has received special recognition as "Outstanding Young Londoner" and is an Honorary Citizen of the City of Biloxi, Mississippi, USA.
